How are cartoons drawn and colored?

How are DCPs made available?

A DCP (Digital Cinema Package) version is made to the projector requirements and sent preferably via Internet. Using the DCP-O-MATIC program, a DCP version was made with an English title, subtitles burned into (embedded) frames, 24fps, and 2K definition as required by a famous festival.

Why do some un-colorized sketches momentarily appear?

Three reasons:

#3) In Le Livre dans Le Champ (The Book in the Field), a sketch momentarily appears to create some tension that something is not quite right.

#2) In Écrire un Faux (Writing a Wrong), sketches momentarily appear as a sci-fi element to show both -

a) a time travel event transition

b) the loss of color consumes all energy to produce a flash.

#1) An artistic signature to show the original drawing to the fully colorized drawing.
